Danville, Calif. - BlindWine.com, the online wine destination site will officially launch their BlindWine Blog on June 1st, 2009 on their website, www.blindwine.com
What is BlindWine.com?
BlindWine.com taps into the growing popularity of wine. The website was originally built to support the wine game BlindWine. Unlike other wine tasting party kits, BlindWine is presented in a game format where a winner is declared. Each player brings a bottle of wine based on criteria set by the host (type, region, year, and price range). The host places each bottle in a BlindWine bag to prevent anyone from knowing which wine is theirs. Using the BlindWine score cards (and the BlindWine educational tips, if needed), guests rate the wine in four key categories and determine the total points for each wine. The player that brought the highest rated wine is declared the winner and awarded the ‘coveted' gold medal.
"Over the last three years BlindWine has received a lot of requests from customers for additional online services. We see the BlindWine blog as the first of many steps in making www.blindwine.com a top online wine consumer destination" said Marc Sisler, co-Founder of MJHP. "As companies move to deliver more services online, we feel we have the opportunity to be an industry leader in our market. This is just the first of many more online products and services from BlindWine."Price and Availability
